The Peace Center Welcomes Ellen Gunter Saturday, September 11, 1-4 p.m. "Writing Your Spiritual Autobiography"
Everyone has on the inside of them a story about their spiritual journey....learn how to make it a great read, too! Your life is dotted with examples of divine intrusion, where the force of heaven has dropped in for a visit. It may have seemed like a lucky coincidence, a missed opportunity or even a punishment at the time, but each of us can trace back to pivotal points in our lives when an unseen--or even a seen--hand seemed to change the course of our lives. In this class participants will learn what spiritual autobiography is, how you plan and write your own, and what it can teach you about your relationship with your own inner life. Instructor Ellen Gunter is a journalist and spiritual director who lives in Chicago. She writes a monthly newsletter on spirituality and the environment for www.myss.com and is the author of Reunion: Healing our broken connection to the earth 1-4 p.m.
