Peace T-Shirt Design
Competition
The Peace Center announces its first ever Peace T-Shirt design
competition. Although we are looking primarily in the Berwyn,
IL area, the competition is open to artists of all ages and
from all locations.

Rules:
1.
All
images must be made specifically for this
contest.
2.
Please send proposed T-Shirt designs to
peacemaker@thepeacecenter.info
. The design must be accompanied by a
completed registration form below. Additional registration and
submission information is available on
www.thepeacecenter.info
. Correct contact information must be
provided for the registration to be valid. A confirmation email
will be sent to each contestant upon receipt of materials.
3.
To
be considered, designs must be in high resolution (at least 200
dpi) digital PNG or JPG files.
Whichever format you decide on using, save all files in RGB
color mode. Images may not exceed 4 MB. Maximum dimensions of the
image are 10” x 10”.
4.
Only submissions from individuals will be accepted. No
submissions will be accepted from teams or groups.
By entering artwork to the competition the entrant warrants
that he or she is the sole copyright holder, and has the
complete rights to submit materials into the competition.
5.
Entries must be received on or before 5 p.m. Friday, April
23.
No late entries will be accepted. The Peace Center will not be
held responsible for late entries for any reason whatsoever. It
is the sole responsibility of the entrants to make reasonable
allowances for upload times and to plan
accordingly.
6.
Judging will take place on Sunday, April 25 at the meeting of
the Board of Trustees of The Peace Center.
7.
All entries become the property of The Peace Center. All
designs may be offered for sale or used in any number of peace
awareness campaigns in line with the mission of the Peace
Center.
8.
By entering this contest, artists grant The Peace Center the
right to display the submissions on the website and to print
t-shirts and other gift items using them.
The entrant grants The Peace Center and competition sponsors
rights to use all entered materials in any media for sales,
marketing and merchandising material, provided full and correct
credit for the artist clearly appears with said materials.
9.
Any image deemed to contain content that depicts violence,
racial, political, religious, sexual, or any other inflammatory
material in an inappropriate manner will be
disqualified.
10.
Other than the rights assigned in the preceding clauses
entrants retain copyright of all entered materials and are free
to use said materials for personal promotions.
11.
The Peace Center reserves the right to cancel or extend the
contest at any time for any reason, without notice or prior
warning.

Prizes:
1.
Winners will be notified by May 1.
Judges' decisions are final.
2.
To be eligible for prizes, all winning entrants must cooperate
in making an interview about themselves, and agree to be
photographed and have audio and video recordings of themselves
and their work posted on the Internet and in various media, as
appropriate.
3.
Winners are to attend a public award presentation at The Peace
Center on Sunday May 16th at 1 p.m. Entrants will
pay all their own travel expenses to the award ceremony.
4.
First prize will be $100 cash. In addition,
two shirts with artist’s design, in the sizes of the artist's
choice, will be given to the artist.
5.
Second prize $75 cash. In addition,
two shirts with artist’s design, in the sizes of the artist's
choice, will be given to the artist.
6.
Third prize $25 cash.
In addition,
two shirts with artist’s design, in the sizes of the artist's
choice, will be given to the artist.
